Elizabeth & Tyler | Concourse Hotel & Pres House Madison

Untitled photo

A summer full of rainy Saturdays final turned into...well...summer just in time for Elizabeth and Tyler's weddings in Madison. Preparations for the day began at the Concourse Hotel before Tyler and Elizabeth first saw each other for the day on the steps of the Wisconsin St Capitol building.  Amazingly, despite a busy Capitol lawn due to the weekend Farmer's Market, the two were able to enjoy a private moment at the top of the staircase.

After that it was off to Allen Centennial Gardens for some family portraits and the the ceremony at the Pres House. Elizabeth and Tyler chose to exchange intimate vows privately away from the crowd  - which was something I hadn't seen in all my wedding experience.

One of the perks to a bride and groom seeing each other before the ceremony is that there is potentially more time available after the ceremony to be spent celebrating, and that's exactly what happened here. It was very important to Elizabeth and Tyler that they were present to experience as much time celebrating with friends and family as possible and a stop at The Great Dane Brewpub with the bridal party achieved just that.

After some craft beers, wine, and a stop at Monona Terrace it was back to where we started the day - The Concourse Hotel - for a wonderful reception in the ballroom.

Congrats Elizabeth & Tyler! Here's a look back!
